Meet the PiRates

Potomac PiRates is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by students, for students. Our mission is to make complex math concepts engaging and enjoyable through interactive activities, customized math kits, and creative learning methods focusing on Vedic (Mental) math techniques.

Student-Led Learning

Our unique approach to education is centered on student-led learning, fostering a collaborative environment where students assist each other in mastering concepts. By utilizing customized math kits and various math learning resources, we empower students to take charge of their own education while enjoying the process.

    Customized Math Kits

    Our customized math kits are designed to meet the specific needs of students. In collaboration with teachers, we create tailored grade-level math learning resources that include an abacus, math-related games, and essential accessories like a Rubik's cube, notebook, ruler, crayons, pencils, and markers. Additionally, we have developed a math booklet featuring mental math tricks and games that kids can enjoy while using our training videos, promoting student-led learning.
