Math Kits
To date, we have distributed over 1000 customized math kits to support after-school programs in schools across Houston (TX), Rockville, Gaithersburg, Baltimore (MD), Leavittsburg (OH), and Lamu (Kenya). These math learning resources enhance STEM learning and benefit students, including those in special needs education, while fostering volunteer engagement and promoting student-led learning.
After-school & Summer Programs
Our sessions, led by Rishik Shenolikar, focus on mental math techniques and a screen-free, gamified approach to teach math concepts to young students. We are collaborating with various local organizations, including the Montgomery County Recreation Center, to conduct sessions at after-school programs. Additionally, we are developing customized math kits as part of our math learning resources to support special needs education and enhance STEM learning, while also promoting student-led learning and volunteer engagement in our initiatives.
Focus on Special Needs Students
We provide personalized, one-on-one math support to local students with special needs through after-school programs, aimed at strengthening their skills and confidence. Our customized math kits serve as effective math learning resources that enhance STEM learning while fostering volunteer engagement in special needs education. This initiative is inspired by Rishik Shenolikar and promotes student-led learning.
Volunteers
We have over 80 volunteers engaged in our mission to reduce math anxiety among students through after-school programs. By collaborating with Montgomery County Public Schools, we can offer social service hours to recognize and reward our volunteers’ contributions. These efforts also support special needs education and enhance STEM learning by providing customized math kits and other math learning resources, fostering an environment of student-led learning as advocated by Rishik Shenolikar.
